Cluster Control with Clusters.

Quick Setup

Step 1: Rez the items

  • Place the desired amount of Clusters.
  • It is recommended to also place the Cluster Control. It gives the option to fund and control all clusters at once and call for ClusterCrazes (provided you have at least 10 Clusters rezzed).

Step 2: Fund the Clusters

Option 1: Via Cluster Control:

  • You can provide funding for the CrystalCraze Clusters by selecting [Payment] and then 2) Refill via SecondLife account from the menu.
  • Grant Debit Permissions and subsequently fund the control by right-clicking and choosing Pay.
  • The Cluster Control will automatically dispense the funds to all your clusters in the region. Give it a minute or so to be sure all clusters have been funded.

Option 2: Fund Cluster directly:

  • You can provide funding for an individual cluster by selecting [Payment] and then 2) Refill via SecondLife account from the menu.
  • Grant Debit Permissions and subsequently fund the cluster by right-clicking and choosing Pay.

Step 3: Activate Clusters

Option 1: Via Cluster Control:

  • Choose 2) Manage CrystalCraze Clusters from the menu.
  • You can activate all Clusters by choosing 1) Activate CrystalCraze Clusters - 6) All Clusters.
  • The Clusters will appear to players randomly every 10 to 15 hours.
  • If you want them to be accessible to players immediately choose 3) Uncover CrystalCraze Clusters - 6) All Clusters or even better 3) Call for a ClusterCraze! to host a ClusterCraze event and have it announced to players via notice.

Note: The minimum amount of Clusters required to have a ClusterCraze is 10.

Option 2: Activate Cluster directly:

  • Choose 1) Activate from the Cluster menu.
  • The Cluster will appear to players randomly every 10 to 15 hours.
  • If you want it to be accessible to players immediately choose 2) Uncover Now!.

Funding

As with all CrystalCraze items there are three different Funding Methods for your CrystalCraze Clusters.

Settings

Control Settings

General Settings

Click on your Cluster Control. Press the [Settings] button in the menu to access the general settings menu.

Reset Cluster Names

This will set all your random cluster names back to their original names. You might wish to opt to reset cluster names before you pick the clusters up to your inventory, so you will later be able to distinguish them easily by color.

Randomize Cluster Names

If you have accidentally (or deliberately) reset your cluster names, you can randomize them once again by choosing this option.

Notifications

Activate notifications to receive updates on your control's status, such as when funds run out. Disable notifications to avoid instant messages in nearby chat. For your convenience deactivating notifications on your control will also deactivate notifications on all clusters.

Managers

Select option 4, then option 1, to enter up to 5 account names for dispenser management. Managers can add funds by right-clicking the dispenser and using the "Pay" option. They also have a simplified menu for activation, deactivation and craze calls.

Advanced Settings

Click on your Cluster Control. Press the [Settings] button, then the [Advanced] button in the menu to access the advanced settings menu.

Night Glow

Enabling Night Glow causes your clusters to emit a glow in dark wind-light settings.

Shout

This setting allows you to enable or disable the control from broadcasting announcements in nearby chat when a craze call is issued. If your neighbors find craze shout-outs bothersome, you may choose to disable them.

Super Conceal

This will make your clusters disappear completely while they are in cool-down-mode.

Control Size
  • Select Minimize to reduce the control's prominence in its surroundings and disable bumping.
  • Choose Maximize to enhance visibility, making it easier to spot and interact with.
