Clusters
Quick Setup
Step 1: Rez the items
- Place the desired amount of Clusters.
- It is recommended to also place the Cluster Control. It gives the option to fund and control all clusters at once and call for ClusterCrazes (provided you have at least 10 Clusters rezzed).
Step 2: Fund the Clusters
Option 1: Via Cluster Control:
- You can provide funding for the CrystalCraze Clusters by selecting
[Payment]
and then2) Refill via SecondLife account
from the menu. - Grant Debit Permissions and subsequently fund the control by right-clicking and choosing
Pay
. - The Cluster Control will automatically dispense the funds to all your clusters in the region. Give it a minute or so to be sure all clusters have been funded.
Option 2: Fund Cluster directly:
- You can provide funding for an individual cluster by selecting
[Payment]
and then2) Refill via SecondLife account
from the menu. - Grant Debit Permissions and subsequently fund the cluster by right-clicking and choosing
Pay
.
Step 3: Activate Clusters
Option 1: Via Cluster Control:
- Choose
2) Manage CrystalCraze Clusters
from the menu. - You can activate all Clusters by choosing
1) Activate CrystalCraze Clusters
-6) All Clusters
. - The Clusters will appear to players randomly every 10 to 15 hours.
- If you want them to be accessible to players immediately choose
3) Uncover CrystalCraze Clusters
-6) All Clusters
or even better3) Call for a ClusterCraze!
to host a ClusterCraze event and have it announced to players via notice.
Note: The minimum amount of Clusters required to have a ClusterCraze is 10.
Option 2: Activate Cluster directly:
- Choose
1) Activate
from the Cluster menu. - The Cluster will appear to players randomly every 10 to 15 hours.
- If you want it to be accessible to players immediately choose
2) Uncover Now!

Funding
As with all CrystalCraze items there are three different Funding Methods for your CrystalCraze Clusters.
Settings
Control Settings
General Settings
Click on your Cluster Control. Press the [Settings]
button in the menu to access the general settings menu.
Reset Cluster Names
This will set all your random cluster names back to their original names. You might wish to opt to reset cluster names before you pick the clusters up to your inventory, so you will later be able to distinguish them easily by color.
Randomize Cluster Names
If you have accidentally (or deliberately) reset your cluster names, you can randomize them once again by choosing this option.
Notifications
Activate notifications to receive updates on your control's status, such as when funds run out. Disable notifications to avoid instant messages in nearby chat. For your convenience deactivating notifications on your control will also deactivate notifications on all clusters.
Managers
Select option 4, then option 1, to enter up to 5 account names for dispenser management. Managers can add funds by right-clicking the dispenser and using the "Pay" option. They also have a simplified menu for activation, deactivation and craze calls.
Advanced Settings
Click on your Cluster Control. Press the [Settings]
button, then the [Advanced]
button in the menu to access the advanced settings menu.
Night Glow
Enabling Night Glow
causes your clusters to emit a glow in dark wind-light settings.
Shout
This setting allows you to enable or disable the control from broadcasting announcements in nearby chat when a craze call is issued. If your neighbors find craze shout-outs bothersome, you may choose to disable them.
Super Conceal
This will make your clusters disappear completely while they are in cool-down-mode.
Control Size
- Select
Minimize
to reduce the control's prominence in its surroundings and disable bumping. - Choose
Maximize
to enhance visibility, making it easier to spot and interact with.
Cluster Settings
General Settings
Click on your Cluster. Press the [Settings]
button in the menu to access the general settings menu.
Multi-Pos
This allows you to store up to 10 positions for your cluster. Place your cluster in the position you would like to store and choose Store Position
. Repeat this procedure for all the positions you'd like to save. Make sure the Multi-Pos setting is activated and observer the clusters changing positions randomly on each respawn and each ClusterCraze call.

button in the menu to access the advanced settings menu.

Updating
- Click on one of your clusters or on your control.
- Navigate to
[Settings]
→5) Update
. - If an update is available for your control (clusters respectively), a notification will prompt you. Confirm by selecting
Yes
. The botCrystalCrazeUpdate Resident
will provide theCrystalCraze Cluster Update
object. - Rez the updater on your land and touch it.
